Finally Samsung Galaxy S got awesomeness of Android 2.3. Some hardworking developers at XDA-Developers were able to install Android 2.3 in Galaxy S.As we all know that Google Nexus S has similar hardware like Galaxy S, so porting of Gingerbread was easier.
Some improvements which were noticed are- the device feels more snappy just like real Galaxy S,improved power management screen etc.But currently Voice,WiFi,GPS,Camera is not working so it needs more work.See Galaxy S running Android 2.3 ---
